Transport Expertise released today, February 13, 2009, the English version of the study “French Offer in the Urban Mobility Sector”

Background

French offer in the urban mobility sector is often associated with the rolling stock offer. It is true that the French technology in this sector, especially in the railway sector with Alstom products, is seen as the world reference.

However, the French offer does not amount to no more than its rolling stock. French companies take an active part in all the segments of urban mobility and they can offer a complete quality service in engineering, signaling, transport operation, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), or urban furnitures.

The companies’ cards of this document aim to present a synthetic overview of the French offer in the sector. If it is not exhaustive, it is offering a general idea of the main actors of the sector.
