Transport Expertise Association is born!

Madam, Sir, Dear Visitors,

On behalf of all Transport Expertise Board members, I am pleased to announce that we created Transport Expertise Association (Non-Profit Organization under French regulation).

As defined in the articles of association adopted during the General Assembly on Dec. 19, 2008, the Association will study and promote at the international level, best transportation & infrastructures practices from North America and Europe.

All official documents can be found on “A propos de l’Association” et “About the Association” pages (articles of association, rules of procedures, organizational chart, etc.)

Activity will thus resume progressively on our website. Several specialists from the transport sphere will now work on the transportation and infrastructure topics that we wil publish. We will keep you posted during the next few weeks of the projects we plan to accomplish during our first “official year.”

Even though our program is “still to be defined” (at least “precisely” define), you should know that our main targets are the followings:

increasing drastically website’s traffic;
increasing the number of articles publish to reach, at least one article per day per section (English & French);
publishing at least 12 specialists interviews, as we did with Mr. Barron de Angoiti;
publishing synthesis about both transportation operation and infrastructure financing for each mode (10 papers for France and 10 papers for the United States, at first);
writing one or two annual studies, by each project group (rail, air, roads & logistics, maritime & waterways, urbain mobility).
